Boracay Island

Boracay an island of the Philippine Islands located in the Western Visayas region approximately 315 km south of Manila and 2 km off northwest tip of the island of Panay.

How to get to Boracay?

The fastest way is by plane. When you from Manila or Cebu, take flights going to either via Kalibo or via Caticlan.In Caticlan, take the tricycles (motorcyle-run side cars) to the jetty port where the boats are stationed. In Kalibo, you may ride airconditioned buses or vans for hire that will take you to Jetty Port where the boats to Boracay are stationed.

Most large restaurants, stores and hotels accept major credit cards. Travelers cheques and cash can be changed at the Boracay Tourist Center, the foreign exchange counter at the Allied Bank next to the Queen’s Beach Resort in Angol and the Boracay branch of the Allied Bank.

There are a lot of things you can do in Boracay aside from swimming and getting tanned. You try windsurfing, kiteboarding and a whole lot of water sports.

And in the evening almost all bars and restaurants offer its customers the best and the wildest parties, good music and dancing for everyone to enjoy and experience.
