El Nido, Palawan
In Palawan, you may a number of interesting places to visit,one of which is El Nido. El Nido is a fourth class municipality and marine reserve park in the province of Palawan, Philippines. It is about 420 kilometers southwest of Manila.

There a number of popular tourists spots in EL Nido namely:
Miniloc Island
The first resort in El Nido is located. It is a great place for snorkeling, scuba diving and kayaking. It has small and big lagoons that shows the rich Philippine Islands marine life in its orchid-lined limestone walls.
Lagen Island
This island has the most luxurious exclusive resort, which is surrounded by a forest and limestone walls. Its Leta-Leta Cave was an important burial site of the Late Neolithic Age, where a collection of stone and shell artifacts, and sophisticated pottery and nephrite adzes and axes were recovered.
Pangalusian Island
It has one of the widest stretch of powdery white beaches in El Nido, which is very ideal for sun bathing, sunset viewing, and other beach activities.
Cudognun Point
It is an important anthropological site, where jewelry and pottery dating back to the Sung Dynasty (960-1279 BC) were yielded. The anthropologists believe that the cave dwellers were from Borneo, and travelled across the ancient land bridge that connected Palawan from Borneo.
Matinloc Island
Matinloc Island, the longest slim island in El Nido, has a secret beach that is inaccessible by boat and surrounded by steep rock walls. To reach it, divers must swim underwater through a narrow crevice in a rock wall.
How to get there?
By Air:
PAL, Air Philippines and Cebu Pacific - They have daily flights from Manila to Puerto Princesa.
Island Transvoyager Inc. (ITI) - ITI offers 2 flights every day, 7 days a week from Manila direct to El Nido and back, one in the morning; one in the afternoon. Fares are $120 inc taxes each way. Baggage is limited to 15kg including hand luggage. Extra kilos thereafter charged per kilo rate.
South East Asian Airlines (Seair)
• Manila - El Nido: 2 - 3 times a week with Seair
• Busuanga - El Nido: 2- 3 times a week with Seair
• Manila - Taytay: daily flights with Asian Spirit and Seair (+ by road 2 hrs. to El Nido)
By Boat:
Cargo/Passengers Ship - 3 to 4 Cargo-ships depart Manila per week for El Nido, 2 of them via Coron, Busuanga.
Private Boat Hire - During peak season a regular boat operates from Sabang to El Nido vice versa.
By Land:
Buses - Daily Busses depart at San Jose Terminal in Puerto Princesa for El Nido. 7.30 and 9.00 am. Same departure times for El Nido to Puerto Princesa.
Private Van Hire - Hire a VAN from Puerto Princesa to El Nido v.v. or occassionally their shuttle van is available.
